BEYOND THE QUADS
Visual Culture

Artwork by four College students, including Sarcasm (painted wood, 2010) by May Yeung, seen in window at left, made the cut for the Second Annual Juried Show at DOVA Temporary. Held in November and December, the exhibition was open to submissions from students, faculty, and staff.
DOVA Temporary's name seems more cryptic than it is. The storefront gallery (formerly a Chinese restaurant) serves as the Department of Visual Arts' temporary exhibition space, until the Logan Center for the Arts opens in spring 2012. It hosts more than eight shows a year. It no longer smells like egg rolls.
